1934 Detroit Tigers (AL Champions) Team Signed Baseball: 24 signatures on a Harridge OAL ball, including Cochrane (MVP), Greenberg, Goslin, Gehringer, Rowe, Bridges, White, Fox, Owen, Rogell, Walker, Auker, Perkins, Hayworth, Crowder. This team won the American League pennant with 101 wins (in a 154-game season) and lost a seven-game World Series to the Gas House Gang. Includes the entire starting lineup (average batting average .316!) and all starting pitchers. The signatures were signed with a fine-tipped fountain pen in black ink, but all are very readable and preserved with a beautiful light coating. The stampings are perfect. The elusiveness of this championship ball cannot be overstated; quite literally, you might never see another complete example without the clubhouse signatures that plague the few Tigers balls that exist from this era.
